Mildura Rural City Council is calling on local groups and organisations to host free or low-cost events or activities as part of the 2025 Mildura Seniors Festival.

Held as part of Victorian Seniors Festival throughout the month of October, local groups, clubs and organisations can hold information sessions, events that highlight this year’s theme ‘Connect, Create, Celebrate’, while promoting positive ageing, gardening and craft activities, learning opportunities, entertainment, tours, exercise programs or come and try days.

“You can decide the type of activity and its planning - including the date, venue, catering and any entertainment,” Councillor for Community Health and Wellbeing Troy Bailey said.

“The application process is simple, and can be undertaken online, by email or post.

“We want to hear from as many groups and organisations as possible and hope to see a wide range of events put forward for inclusion.

“The Mildura Seniors Festival has been a tremendous local event in the past, I personally can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2025 and look forward to seeing you there.”
