DTP seeks to engage an experienced contractor with geospatial data and modelling qualifications and expertise, along with sufficient knowledge of fire prevention, preparedness, and vegetation risk management. The contractor will update the Victorian Arterial Road Bushfire and Grassfire Risk Assessment (2013) and maps to assess bushfire risk along Victorian roadsides.

To support comprehensive responses to the evaluation criteria and ensure alignment with project requirements, respondents will be granted access to underlying datasets, maps of the declared arterial road network, and historical fire risk maps.

A Confidentiality Agreement and Conflict of Interest Deed Poll will be required (please see the documentation). Once signed and returned to Karlie Tucker - Manager, Mitigation and Planning (karlie.tucker@transport.vic.gov.au) and Katie Clydesdale - Associate Director, EM Planning, Mitigation, and Recovery (katie.clydesdale@transport.vic.gov.au), respondents will receive the following:

• Datasets from the previous assessment (geodatabase files)

• Declared road definition (results are provided in VICGRID 2020, https://epsg.io/7899 projection, and in ESRI File Geodatabase format)

• Fire Risk Maps (high, moderate, and low)
