Overview:
Portions of the senior block (E Block) at Tapawera Area School require alteration and refurbishment to better suit the current and future needs of the school whilst modernising the spaces. Additional to this the small entrance canopy on A Block is no longer fit for purpose and requires replacement.
Contract Works Include:
1. Alterations and/or refurbishment of Five spaces within E Block
2. Construction of a replacement A Block entry canopy
3. Staged schedule of works to allow the school to continue operating and to minimise disruption for students and staff.
4. Works to proceed as soon as practical after Building Consent is awarded.
5. The Contractor will be engaged through a Medium Works Contract. No Contract related tags will be considered.
Additional Details:
- Works will commence as soon as possible after Building Consent approval, works required during term-time and holiday periods.
- Works not requiring consent can start as soon a practical as agreed by all parties
- Engagement will be through a Medium Works Contract; no contract-specific tags to be accepted.
- Site visits are strictly by appointment only.
