Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 35% of the Lower Hunter population. With the city's current population fast approaching 217,000 Lake Macquarie is also the third largest regional city in New South Wales by population. Moreover, the city's population is expected to grow by 39,000 by 2041, creating a demand for 12,000 new dwellings and associated infrastructure.
Lake Macquarie City Council (Council) owns and operates the Toronto Commercial Centre located at the corner of Brighton Avenue and Pemell Street, Toronto, New South Wales 2283.
Council is seeking an experience and qualified Service Provider to undertake caretaking duties that oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and cleaning of the Centre for a period of three years, with two 12-month extension options. The contract will commence 1 September 2025.

TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderers Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required completely filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed nor engage in any form of collusive practice not directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.
