Tender Description
North East Water is seeking to engage a suitably qualified Principal Contractor to install a new main switchboard and upgrade the MCC at the WWTP. The replacement of the MCC will incorporate an upgrade of the current Allen Brady PLCs to Omron NX Series PLCs.
The scope of works will include tasks:
• Installation of new MSB including relocation.
• Installation of new MCC including upgrade of site PLCs to Omron NX Series.
• SCADA programming based on Liquitek’s “Functional Description”
• Upgrade and relocation of Ausnet “point of supply” to the new MSB.
• Replacement of power, sub mains and control cabling
The proposed project will be completed under a “Design and Construct” contract and is scheduled to be completed by March 2027.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
