The Brief

The West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide a mobile coffee service at the hospital site at 41 Landsborough Street, Warragul for a three (3) month fixed term trial period with a review by negotiation at the end of the fixed term.

This trial will help inform the health service of the model for delivering a Barista service to WGHG in the longer term.

The service will attract a staff base of 1200 employees (but not limited to) and will be required to operate between the hours of service start time 6.30am to service end time 3.30pm.

This time frame will capture shift change over periods.

The successful applicant will be granted a license to operate on the hospital grounds at a site to be determined by WGHG in conjunction with the applicant. The License will be valid for a three (3) month trial period from the date of commencement.

WGHG has 110 Aged Care and 102 Hospital beds and provides a broad range of services including acute medical and surgical, paediatric, obstetrics & gynecology, emergency, aged care and community services.

The Warragul Linen Service is co-located on the hospital campus as well as a number of privately run clinics.

WGHG employs approx 1,200 staff at the main site. Visitors and the public will have access to the offering, in turn providing further commercial benefit to the successful Candidate.
