Tender Description
The project will involve the demolition of the existing Eastwood Leisure Complex, retention and recladding of the existing basketball court and construction of a new community facility. The facility is targeting a 5-star Greenstar rating.
The site is a tight urban block surrounded by significant trees, an active childcare centre, public park and playground and a busy road (Eastwood Street). Space for site amenities, set-down areas and work compounds is limited and so an understanding of the site and key risks is critical.
Careful consideration must be given to protection of existing trees, protection of existing waterways and the proximity of high-voltage power lines and sub-surface services.
