Overview

Each category is expected to provide the following services across the relevant assets:

• Planned maintenance services

• Compliance (Essential Services Maintenance) services

• Responsive maintenance

• Assistance in small project work at agreed rates

• Provision of upgrade works upon request

It is anticipated that one or more full time equivalent staff are allocated across the campuses to provide ongoing coverage and services for each category across the campus network.

These staff will provide a full-time on-site presence and complete works as allocated on both a planned and reactive basis. Labour costs shall be agreed and fixed with an agreed mark-up applied on materials, parts and pass through costs. 

Electrical

The Electrical trade category includes the planned and reactive servicing of the following:

• Power supply assets (electrical switchboards, distribution boards and campus wiring)

• Internal and external lighting fixtures and fittings

• Building services infrastructure

• Exit and Emergency Lighting Replacements (monitored and unmonitored)

• Compliance activities (RCD Testing, Thermal Graphic Imaging, Test & tag, Etc.)

Chisholm delivers vocational training for engineering, automotive, building and construction, fabrication, electrical, hair and beauty, health, hospitality, horticulture, art and other apprenticeships. Contractor experience of maintenance in this training environment will be highly valued and tenderers are invited to demonstrate this experience if relevant.
