Women In Street Art Expressions of Interest

⁠⁠⁠Women in Street Art (WISA) program calls for submissions

The City of Greater Geelong is calling for Expressions of Interest from street artists across Victoria to participate in the Women in Street Art (WiSA) program. The commission will have a budget of $30,000.

The WiSA program aims to foster, support and build a collection of purposeful street art by women from a diverse range of backgrounds. Through the creation of wall-based street art installations across Geelong’s CBD, the program will amplify the contributions of women in public art while also addressing broader societal discussions around gendered representation.

Submissions must include artwork examples representing the artist’s original work and reflect artistic excellence, innovation and originality.

Successful artist’s work scheduled for installation in September 2025.
