Provision of Beach Sand Maintenance

Kingston City Council (Council) is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the Provision of Beach Sand Maintenance.

The successful tenderer will be required to deliver the following scope of works and services in this contract, including the following, but not limited to:

•  Scheduled mechanical beach cleansing/raking of beach sand from the low tide mark to the landside boundary and disposal of waste.
•  Periodic (unscheduled) organic waste (seaweed) removal as directed/agreed; and
•  Sand remediation involving the relocation of excess and/or the addition of beach sand to Beach entry points as directed/agreed for the purpose of achieving safe access to the beach via pathways and roads.
