Remedial Works at North Steyne SLSC

SERVICE REQUIRED:

As part of the 2024/2025 Capital Works Program, Council is undertaking external remedial works to the North Steyne SLSC building, Manly NSW 2095.

Council is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the following outline scope of works:

• Demolition including loose render, eaves, gutters, fascias, downpipes etc
• External wall rendering and painting
• Roof tiles cleaning and painting including replacement of broken tiles
• Roof repairs including flashings and roof framing
• Roof eaves replacement and painting
• Gutters and fascia boards replacement and painting
• Doors and windows repairs and painting including replacement where required
• Balcony steel beams and timber balustrades painting
• Existing service pipes painting
• Concrete spalling repairs
• Scaffolding and hoarding

The works are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this document. To have tenders considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Tender document is provided.

Expected commencement of on-site works August/September 2025.

SITE BRIEFING:

A Site briefing will be held on Thursday 5 June 2025 at North Steyne SLSC, Manly at 11.00am. Tenderers should ensure they review the tender documents and understand the scope of work before attending the briefing. (See Part A5 - Conditions of Tender for details).

LODGEMENT:

Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
