The successful Company must have the ability to provide the following services:

• To Provide RCD testing of building switchboards

• To provide test and tagging of all university building assets

• Have an electronic portal capable of maintaining an asset and equipment register of all test & tag results and recommendations

• These items will be grouped into buildings/departments. Each group will be scheduled for service as per the Australian Standard timelines.

• The ability to provide a service outside of the schedule.

• The ability to provide a corrective service. (i.e. replacing plug ends as required).

• Have the experience, qualifications and licences applicable to your trade.

• Ability to provide own equipment.

• All services to be at time of day determined by Federation University.

• Services provided are to be in accordance with Standard AS/NZ 3760:2022 two (2) year testing requirement unless deemed as high risk due to the site being a workshop or hostile environment.

• Push Button Test: six (6) month push button testing - All bar-coded circuit breakers to be scanned during the testing process.

• Operating Time Test: twelve (12) months - Environment where the equipment or supply flexible cord is subject to flexing in normal use OR is open to abuse OR is in a hostile environment. All bar-coded circuit breakers to be scanned during the testing process.

• Operating Time Test: twenty-four (24) months - Environment where the equipment or supply cord is NOT subject to flexing in normal use and is NOT open to abuse and is NOT in a hostile environment OR Residential type areas of hotels, residential institutions, motels, boarding houses, halls, hostels, accommodation houses, and the like. All bar-coded circuit breakers to be scanned during the testing process.

As an outcome of this tender, Federation University may award up to four separate contracts to four different contractors.
