Whitsunday Regional Council (Principal) requires a Contractor experienced and qualified for swimming pool construction, installation and maintenance to conduct improvement works to the Pool Heater System (PHS) at two (2) of the Principal’s Aquatic Facilities (Works).

The existing Pool Heating Units (PHU) installation works were completed 31st March 2024. Once in full operation it was identified that the PHS required improvement works to enable the PHUs to operate effectively and efficiently. No works or modifications must be undertaken on the existing PHU.

The Works will consist of two Separable Portions:

a) Separable Portion 1 - Bowen Swimming Pool, 7 Dalrymple Street, Bowen Qld 4805; and

b) Separable Portion 2 - Proserpine Swimming Pool, 79-83 Anzac Road, Proserpine, Qld, 4800.

Council will be holding a Site Tender Briefing on Wednesday, 4th June 2025 at 12.00 pm (AEST)

The location of the meeting is Proserpine Swimming Pool, 79-83 Anzac Road, Proserpine. If requests are received to visit Bowen Swimming Pool this will occur straight after Proserpine Swimming Pool site briefing.

N.B. PPE is a requirement to attend this site, at a minimum Hi-Vis long-sleeved shirt, full length pants and steel cap boots, it is also recommended to wear sun protection.
