Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The National Museum of Australia (NMA) require the services of designers, developer(s) and technical partner to support the Digital team in delivering initiatives. The Digital team is transitioning into a more focussed delivery unit as new capability enters the team.
To support the new capability, the Digital team require a partner to review existing processes for development work with the outcome being we have identified issues and either provide a recommendation or resolution to the issue.
The Digital team may also require additional ad-hoc support for design technical support as new business requirements emerge. We are seeking 180 hours that can be used over an annual period.
At a high-level the digital team oversee the website (Squiz), the CRM (Tessitura) with TNew being the customer interface, ecommerce (Shopify), Digital Classroom (GovCMS PaaS), and some smaller applications including bespoke HTML and a Sanity CMS pilot program for managing digital signage.
We are open to be flexible in our approach for the right partner to how we work but we are looking for a partner who is supportive of hybrid delivery where there could be a blended team between the NMA and the supplier. We do prefer some onsite work where feasible.
We have detailed an initial backlog with the view that as the items are progressed and is indicative of the type of work the Digital team need support with that encompasses design and software development. As part of the delivery of the below work it can be used to review of processes in parallel as that is of equal priority. The work required we anticipate requires limited interaction with backend systems and the supplier is not expected to have deep knowledge of the backend to perform the work.
We are seeking an RFQ with the view that it would be an ongoing support arrangement the Museum could exercise to manage upcoming priorities.
