Culvert Inspection and Maintenance in South East Queensland

⁠⁠⁠Queensland Rail is seeking a Contractor/s to undertake culvert inspections and maintenance in South East Queensland. The work has been categorised into a) Culvert cleaning and b) Culvert Inspections, as per below. Tenderers can submit an offer for one or both services.

a) Culvert Cleaning

Culverts requiring cleaning will be carried out by vacuum extraction trucks. In some instances, culverts will require to have blockages (debris) removed to facilitate inspections.

b) Culvert Inspections

Culvert inspections require the contractor to use remote cameras to determine if the culvert requires cleaning. The inspection will determine if there are blockages as well as to check for defects, including any deterioration and condition of the culverts. Upon inspection, the contractor shall provide a report on the condition to Queensland Rail.

Regions

The work is required in the South East Queensland network and has been split up into three (3) regions, North, South and West. The regions are as follows:

• North – Brisbane to Gympie North (incl Redcliffe, Pinkenba, Airport, Shorncliffe, Ferny Grove)

• South – Brisbane to Varsity Lakes (incl Cleveland, Fish Island, Std Gauge to Acacia Ridge)

• West - Brisbane to Rosewood (incl Tennyson, Springfield, Ipswich Workshops, Ebeneezer)

Tenderers are to indicate the regions in which they can undertake work. They can nominate for specific regions or for all regions.

Queensland Rail will only accept tender responses submitted via Ariba Sourcing System.

For this tender (QRP-24-106), the information uploaded on the tendering portal is not all the Tender information, however itis enough information for the suppliers/interested tenderers to determine whether the scope of works is suitable for their company profile.

Ariba Sourcing, Queensland Rail's tendering system, is the only tendering tool that Tenderers must use to submit their responses. Queensland Rail will not accept any physical responses or responses via the tendering website.
