PV is looking to create a panel for Claims Preparation Specialist services to support our insurance claims from the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA)

PV is looking to appoint Claims Preparation Specialists to the Panel will be required to provide the following Services:

Claim Assessment Services

• Investigate a claim on behalf of PV including site attendance where necessary and collection of information
• Establish the cause of the loss and comment on policy coverage where applicable.
• Provide recommendations on quantum of loss.
• Provide commentary on prospects for third party recovery or contribution where applicable.
• Provide other advice relevant to the claims as requested.
•  Liaise with key stakeholders in the organisation for the purpose of identifying claimable expenses of the following types;
• Costs directly related to the primary insuring clause of both Section 1 & 2 of the relevant VMIA insurance wording for each claim
• Extensions to the Primary Cover clause under each section, primarily Loss Prevention Expenses, Government and Statutory Fees, Professional Fees, Removal of Debris, Safety & Temporary Protection and Additional Increased Cost of Working (including internal labour costs)
