Tender Description
The City now seeks to form a collaborative partnership with a Contractor to provide turf renovation and maintenance services across various active and passive spaces throughout the City.
The resultant contract shall be for the provision of turf renovation and maintenance services on active sports grounds and other selected parks or areas within the City of Canning as required. There are approximately 70 hectares (HA) of active sports grounds and lawns across the City. The volume of required renovations and maintenance may vary from time to time entirely at the Principal's discretion, and there is no guarantee as to a minimum volume of HA to be renovated each year.
The Contractor shall be advised as to the extent of works prior to the commencement of each Annual Program. The extent and order of the Annual Program may change from year to year.
The Contractor may be directed by the Principal to provide turf renovations to the City's Whaleback Golf Course, the scope of deliverables excludes any turf renovation of the 'Bent Grass Golf Greens'.
The resultant contract will be awarded to a single contractor to satisfy all requirements.
The City reserves the right to award to either a sole contract or multiple contracts to ensure best value for money.
The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend the contract for a one (1) year period and up to a further twelve (12) months; to a maximum of five (5) years.

Any Respondent found to have canvassed City of Canning officers or elected members will be disqualified from the tender process.
