Thames Coromandel District Council is looking to desludge various wastewater ponds within the Thames- Coromandel District to improve the hydraulic capacity of the plants, improve pond treatment performance and reduce the risk of avian botulism outbreak. For this contract TCDC would like contractors to provide costs to desludge the following ponds,

•Matarangi WWTP Ponds 1, 2,& 3

•Thames WWTP Ponds 1 & 2

Additionally, TCDC would request that contractors provide provisional sums for desludging the following ponds:

•Cooks Beach WWTP Ponds 1,2, & 3

•Whitianga WWTP Pond holding Pond.
