The City of Whittlesea is inviting tenders from qualified contractors to construct a 2.5m wide, approximately 900m long concrete bicycle path along the north side of McDonalds Road, Epping, stretching from Scarborough Road to E6 Reserve. The project encompasses three raised pedestrian safety platforms, drainage works, crossovers, landscaping, and associated works.

An optional pre-tender site inspection is set for Thursday, 29 May 2025, at 9:30am, meeting at the intersection of McDonalds Road and Scarborough Road, with attendance strongly encouraged. Tenderers must RSVP by 12:00pm on Monday, 26 May 2025, via email to sharedmailbox-capitaltenders@whittlesea.vic.gov.au, including the contract number, company name, and attendee names. Contractors are urged to carefully review the full tender documents to grasp the entire scope of works and contract conditions prior to bidding.

Tenderers should ensure that they read the Tender Documents fully to ascertain the nature of the Works required for the Project and the terms on which the Works are to be performed and tenders are sought.

The work of this contract is to be carried out in accordance with this Specification, the accompanying drawings, and the Terms and Conditions provided by City of Whittlesea, to the requirements of the local authorities and under the administration of the Superintendent.
