Tender Description
Soil Conservation Service (SCS) seeks suitably qualified, experienced and equipped service providers for a range of Natural Resource Management (NRM) environmental services.
Project goals
SCS requires a panel of subcontractors state-wide who can deliver natural resource project management expertise in conjunction with our existing project and environmental management staff within Soil Conservation Service. We need the panel to enable our existing project managers to reactively access subject matter experts to help drive components or entire projects. They will require expertise in using natural materials for soft engineering to deliver effective environmental solutions and will have experience in the construction of the following in projects including:
• riverbank stabilisation works
• runoff detention basins
• sediment control ponds and wetlands
• farm and water supply dams
• artificial wetlands
• erosion control works
• access tracks
• rock lined channels and fishways
• gully control structures
• broadacre banking systems
• concrete and rock chutes and flumes
• re-vegetation, contaminated land and mine rehabilitation
Scope
SCS will establish a panel of suppliers for the provision of a range of environmental works and consultancy services at various locations within New South Wales.
The supplies will require expertise in using natural materials for soft engineering to deliver effective environmental solutions.
The Natural Resource Project Management Panel will provide the following services:
• Project Management
• Consultation Services
• Engineering and design
• Drafting and modelling
• Works Certification.
