The City of Kingston is seeking submissions to appoint a qualified and experienced consultant to provide expert technical advice and assist Council with carbon offset procurement.

The successful consultant will be required to:

* Advise Council on a Procurement approach

* Ask the market to give some options around carbon projects that match Council's requirements, based on our Carbon Offset Policy.

* Buy offsets on Councils behalf

* Retire offsets on Councils behalf

* Send Council relevant certification
