Security upgrades (Fencing, Fixed Duress & CCTV) at both Brewarrina MPS and Lightning Ridge MPS.

Project goals

Security upgrades at both Brewarrina MPS and Lightning Ridge MPS. These works comprise of:

• Brewarrina- Security fencing (2.4M high black diplomat fencing and 1.8 M high colorbond fencing- colour TBC ) and relocate existing part fence, slide gate and PA gate, both with access control.
• Lightning Ridge- Security fencing (both 2.4M high black diplomat fencing) and new diplomat slide gate and PA, both with access control.
• Brewarrina and Lightning Ridge- CCTV additional camera installs.
• Brewarrina and Lightning Ridge- Fixed duress installs in all onsite key worker staff accommodation (both WNSWLHD and Sydney University). 1x fixed duress point in bedroom and 1x single fixed duress point in the lougeroom area.
• Brewarrina and Lightning Ridge- Power supplies provided for slide gates and to support any other security install as part of this project.

Scope

A contractor is required to undertake security upgrades at both Brewarrina MPS and Lightning Ridge MPS. These works comprise of security fencing and slide gates with access control.

The security sliding gate, PA gate and part of the fence will be repurposed and relocated at Brewarrina.

Fixed duress and security cameras will be supplied and installed in exisiting staff units located on the Hospital campus at both Bewarrina and Lightning Ridge. These installs shall be intergrated into the exisiting hospital system and tested as functionally operational.

Additional details/instructions

These works will be managed via a standard Buy NSW Government Mini Minor Works (MMW) or Minor Works Contract, depending on tendered rate value.

3. Onsite mandatory inspection

4. Project to be managed via BUY NSW Government standard contract

Agree to entering into a contract with WNSWLHD via a standard BUY NSW Government contract for the duration of this project and post completion period of 26 weeks.

Agree to contract standard clause of a bank gaurantee or withheld money of 4% of the contract value for the duration of the post completion period.
