Project goals
To ensure the safe and reliable operation of cranes and lifting equipment across all Sydney Trains maintenance centers by implementing a comprehensive program of preventative and corrective maintenance, thereby supporting uninterrupted rail operations and complying with safety standards.
Scope
The required services encompass the maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment across all relevant sites. This includes the provision of routine maintenance, corrective maintenance, and additional services as needed.
The primary objectives of the services are to:
- Maximise the availability and reliability of systems and equipment.
- Extend the useful lifespan of assets to reduce life cycle costs.
- Mitigate health and safety risks to the public, tenants and the Principal’s personnel associated with the operation of these assets.
- Support the delivery of additional services at the Principal’s discretion.
The service provider is expected to perform all tasks in accordance with applicable safety standards and maintenance best practices to ensure operational continuity and risk minimisation.
