North East Water (NEW) is seeking responses to this Invitation for Expressions of Interest for a fit for purpose Industrial Timeseries Data Analytics Software solution with proven application in manufacturing (process) and the utilities sector, to support efficient operations and decision-making processes of various industrial and network systems.

The software solution is to provide NEW with the ability to support daily operations through continuous monitoring of plant, equipment, treatment processes, and network operations. It will assist NEW in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and making data-driven decisions by identifying/predicting changes in asset performance/status, highlighting opportunities for process improvement, identifying risks, and supporting staff in troubleshooting issues.

The software solution will retrieve data from multiple data sources and platforms including NEW’s data historian which collects a variety of process (SCADA) data from plant, equipment, and instrumentation located across approximately 425 water and wastewater sites.

The purpose of this EOI process is to assess the ability of Registrants to provide the Software Solution.

An overview of North East Waters requirements in relation to the Goods and/or Services is set out in Part B of this Invitation (Overview of Requirements).

This EOI forms part of multi-stage procurement activity if a suitable software solution is identified.

Respondents are to Note that this EOI conditions of participation i.e. Mandatory Criteria and if the mandatory criteria is not met, response will be excluded from the detailed evaluation process.
