ABOUT THE CITY OF LAKE MACQUARIE: Lake Macquarie is the Hunter Region's largest city, accounting for 35% of the Lower Hunter population. ABOUT THE TENDER: Council seeks to engage a qualified and experienced marine construction contractor for the replacement of the Belmont Public Wharf located at Brooks Parade, Belmont, NSW 2280.

The works involve the demolition of the existing timber wharf and the construction of a new, modern wharf structure.

BRIEFING: A non-mandatory briefing will be held onsite at 9 am on Thursday, 15 May 2025.

TENDERERS TO NOTE: In the preparation and submission of the Tender and without limiting the Tenderers obligations, the Tenderer shall submit a tender which includes all Schedules including the Tenderers Declaration Schedule and any other declaration required to be filled in and signed, together with any other documents, information and details necessary to make the tender complete. The tenderer shall not submit a tender without a firm intention to proceed, nor engage in any form of collusive practice, nor directly or indirectly canvass support from an elected member or employee of Council at any time.
