Tender Description

Poatina Power Station located in the central North of Tasmania is undergoing an upgrade. Recent electrical works are nearing completion on Machine No. 03 of 06.

This RFT is to engage a suitably skilled, qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the secondary systems installation on Machine No. 02.

The principal works will be:

Excitation System and Excitation/Unit Transformer
Integrated Unit Control & Protection Panels
Governor and Unit Controller
Machine Motor Starters
Machine Instrumentation
PPP System
Isolating Valve Instrumentation
Machine Vibration
Integrate in Engineering and Communications Networks
Machine Primary Electrical System
Machine Electrical Protection system
Transformer DGA system
Transmission Line Protection
DC Distribution
AC Distribution

Details:

Installation of new panel(s) and associated cabling.
Installation of new Excitation/Unit Transformer and associated protection and monitoring
Manufacturing and installation of excitation cage
Modification of existing controls
Interface to new actuator and controls
Installation of new Unit Board (+BUB) & Standby Board (+BSB).
