Overview
Waratah-Wynyard Council is seeking tenders from experienced civil construction contractors or similar organisations for the design and construction of a change room and clubroom kiosk extension at the Somerset Soccer Club (SSC), located at Cardigan Street, Somerset.
Purpose
In advertising this tender, Council aims to identify the best value-for-money approach to the construction and extension project. Only minimum standards are reflected in this tender, and where a minimum standard or specification is not provided, contractors are encouraged to submit tenders commensurate with the products they determine appropriate for the needs of the project.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Design and construction of new change rooms and amenities at Somerset Soccer Club, Cardigan Street, Somerset
- Construction of a kiosk extension
- Construction of a stand-alone storage area to the east of the new change rooms
Contractor Requirements
- Experience as a civil construction contractor or similar organisation
- Prior involvement in building activities similar to the proposed change rooms and extensions
Instructions to Tenderers

- Tender enquiries should be directed via the online forum
- Completed responses must be submitted to the Electronic Tender Box
- Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion
- Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit
- Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal
- Late, verbal, or emailed proposals will not be accepted
