Construction of Cell 4.5 at Buttonderry WMF

The Central Coast Councils Waste Management Facility (WMF) at Buttonderry requires the construction of a new waste cell to cater for the future demands for waste disposal. The construction of the new waste cell will include tree clearing, haul road construction, earthworks, installation of a Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL), leachate drainage, pumps and pump wells.

This project is required to meet specific environmental objectives and NSW Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) licencing requirements.

Note - MANDATORY Pre Tender Meeting details

A mandatory Pre Tender meeting will be held on site at the Buttonderry Waste Management Facility at 850 Hue Hue Road Jilliby.

The mandatory pre Tender meeting will be held on Tuesday 18 November 2025 at 10:00 am.

Pre-registration is required by emailing lachlan.reedman@centralcoast.nsw.gov.au no later than close of business (COB) Friday 14 November 2025 with the names, contact details, and organisations of those attending.

Please refer to the details of this mandatory Pre Tender meeting given in Part 1 Section 1.9 of the Tender documents.

Attendance at the mandatory Pre Tender meeting is a pre-requisite condition for the submission of a Tender for the Contract. A tender submitted by a Tenderer who has not attended the mandatory Pre Tender meeting will not be considered.
