The City of Greater Geelong (Principal) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the Works associated with extension and building modification works at the Windsor Park Pavilion Upgrade.

The successful tenderer will be responsible for the delivery of the works as the Principal Contractor and engage and manage all sub-contractors.

Late tenders will not be accepted.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The City of Greater Geelong (Principal) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the Works associated with extension and building modification works at the Windsor Park Pavilion Upgrade.

The successful tenderer will be responsible for the delivery of the works as the Principal Contractor and engage and manage all sub-contractors.

The City owns the property, and the project will be led by the City’s Major Projects unit.

A summary of the key components of the proposed works at Windsor Park Pavilion are listed below:

Separate Pricing per the Pricing Schedules is required due to separate funding sources and individual accounting.

PART A Base Tender SRV Component:

 Windsor Park Pavilion Upgrades Pavilion upgrade and extension at Windsor Park including:

• Refurbishment of the 2 existing (football/cricket) change room amenities for women and girls
• Refurbishment of the existing men’s public toilet in the social room to provide a separate toilet and shower that is accessible for women and girls.
• Modifications to accessible toilet for compliance.

 Construction of a pavilion extension to provide a new netball facility including:

• 2 change rooms with amenities for women and girls
• Umpires’ change room with 2 separate amenities for women and girls
• First aid room
• Storage rooms

Tender Option 1

• Front Entry Ramp, West Side of Building.

 PART B Base Tender Council Component:

• Glazed Stacker Doors,
• The outside walkway, viewing platform / tiered seating out front of Pavilion including DDA ramps for improved accessibility into pavilion, etc.
• Site Prep and make good (may include making good floor / carpet areas once only windows / sections are removed).

 Tender Option 2

• Stacker doors and all associated works.
