Hume Hockey Pavilion and Pitch Development

⁠⁠⁠Hume City Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors for the construction of a new hockey pavilion and pitch at the Hume Hockey and Lacrosse Centre, located in Craigieburn, Victoria.

The scope of works includes:

• Construction of a new synthetic hockey field to international standards.
• Delivery of a new pavilion building to support field operations.
• Tender options for a new hockey warm-up area and an expanded car park to complete the site masterplan.

The Principal Contractor will be responsible for the full management of the works, including the engagement and coordination of the civil contractor under the contract. All civil works associated with the project must be managed and integrated by the Principal Contractor to ensure seamless delivery of the facility.

The existing hockey field and pavilion are to remain operational throughout the construction period. Contractors must ensure that construction activities are staged and managed to minimise disruption to the ongoing use of the facilities.

This project forms a key component of Hume City Council’s broader strategy to enhance local sports infrastructure and provide high-quality facilities for community and elite-level participation.
