Tender Description

Purpose:

Austroads is seeking responses from appropriately experienced service providers to support prioritisation and rapid deployment of the best value, proven adaptation actions to support the climate resilience and adaptation of transport assets and services.

Scope:

This project will:

  • Provide a readily navigated and deployed library or database of proven and effective adaptation actions, activities and controls (Library of Actions, or LoAs).
  • Develop a methodology for identifying and selecting effective adaptation actions to address climate and natural hazard impacts.
  • Explore issues around the deployment of adaptation actions and offer guidance for users in deploying them to maximise their value in enhancing climate and natural hazard resilience.
  • Recommend a process whereby Austroads can ensure the LoA and selection guidance remain relevant for users.

Deliverables:

This project will produce the following deliverables:

  • Detailed project plan, including proposed report structure and stakeholder engagement approach.
  • Project data management plan.
  • Project synopsis, including the structure of the report.
  • Research report, including identification and selection methodology and guidance.
  • Structured Library of Actions (LoAs).
  • Presentation of a webinar on the findings, with published presentational materials.
