Wannon Water is seeking Expression of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide a Design and Construct services to build new water treatment infrastructure to improve the aesthetic water quality in the Victorian towns of Portland, Heywood and Port Fairy.

The planned infrastructure will consist of a pre-treatment system, a brackish water reverse osmosis treatment system, a fluoridation plan and other ancillary infrastructure (pipelines, electrical and mechanical components) for each site. Each treatment system requires the disposal of brine waste, washwater and sewage, which will be undertaken via the new ancillary infrastructure (pipelines) carrying the waste output to the existing sewage treatment systems.
