The AEC Master Data Management Solution will enable the AEC to transition to a single record of truth for high value data assets which can be enriched over time, to maintain electoral integrity. This will enable data governance (such as enforcement of data policy and data asset certification) and data management (such as metadata, reference, and master data management, data curation, data quality, and data catalogue management).

This solution will enable the longer-term decommissioning of the master data management capability embedded within the Roll Management System (RMANS) and address data quality issues associated with not having this capability integrated within the Election Management System (ELMS).
