Tender Description
Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) requires the design, supply, construction and commissioning of a new Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for the Whitsunday Coast Airport. The STP design will need to meet for current and future growth of the Whitsunday Coast Airport (WCA), Lascelles Avenue, Gunyarra Qld 4800.
Council currently has a Tender which has been released separately via eTenderbox (https://whitsunday.etenderbox.com.au ) for a project of similar nature at the Lake Proserpine Camping Reserve, 66 Station Road, Proserpine Qld 4800, (500.2025.0020 Lake Proserpine Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Design and Construct). Council will consider any cost saving alternative proposals to complete both projects; however, they must accompany a conforming submission for each Tender, in accordance with Clause 15.
Council will be holding a Mandatory Site Tender Briefing on Wednesday, 30th April 2025 at 2.00 pm (AEST).
The location of the meeting is Whitsunday Water Treatment Plant, 330 Crystalbrook Road, Proserpine QLD 4800.
PPE is a requirement to attend this site, at a minimum hi-vis and steel cap boots, it is also recommended to wear sun protection.
