Tender Description
The City (‘the Principal’) has allocated funding in its capital works budget for resurfacing of the tennis courts and upgrades to the sports lighting to meet the current Australian Standards.
The Principal is now seeking open market tenders for replacement of the existing court surfaces, as well as the upgrades to the sports lighting for the courts.
The project includes all associated civil works (site clearing and demolition, earthworks, drainage works, kerbing and paving) as well as line marking, fencing, turf reinstatement and the associated irrigation works.
The proposed contract will be based on AS 4906-2002 General Conditions of Contract (Principal administered) and the total duration of works is anticipated to be twenty-four (24) weeks including commissioning and adjustments. A Defects Liability period of one (1) year, will apply from Practical Completion. It is the Principal’s intention that the Contract will be awarded in June 2025.
The detailed requirements are set out in the Scope of Work and Technical Specification and the drawings which are included in the tender package.
