Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for the preparation of a “Support at Home” Implementation Plan.
Council currently provides Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, and Carer Respite, Meals on Wheels, Home Maintenance, Home Modifications and Social Support Programs. Council has delivered in-home support, respite, meals on wheels under the CHSP program since 2017 and provided services to approximately 1800 clients last financial year.
The transition to S@H will require review of the Community Care department to ensure it is suitable structured, trained and resources to deliver the outcomes expected by the program including:
- Review of Councils existing operations and practices and advise on strengthening required in order to comply with the new Aged Care Quality Standards
- Engagement with key stakeholders
- Analysis of Strategic Risks.
The required delivery date for the services is 22nd of August 2025,
