National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced organisations for the slope stabilisation works in Kosciuszko National Park.

Project goals

The NPWS seek to reduce the risk to road users and the potential for future slope failures at the site by undertaking works to stabilise the existing slope failure site and immediate surrounds.

NPWS are seeking to engage a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to implement the project works as per the project design documentation. NPWS are seeking a contractor to share the project vision and be prepared to work as part of the Project Team to successfully bring the Project vision to reality.

Scope

The Project Scope of Work includes the following:

1. A range of enabling, environmental protection and health and safety controls to be implemented.
2. Mobilise to site and establish site office, traffic control and environmental and safety controls.
3. De-vegetation and further scaling as required.
4. Rock bolting.
5. Placement of mesh.
6. Placement of associated slope face drainage.
7. Placement for shotcrete.
8. High pressure water flushing of the existing horizontal drains.
9. Rehabilitate the sites and surrounds and areas of disturbance.
10. Demobilisation and Project Closeout as per Preliminaries and other relevant schedules.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on:

Date and time: Friday 11 April 2025 at 11:00am.

Location: Tumut 2 Underground Power Station Entrance, Elliott Way, Cabramurra NSW.

 Attendance by tenderers at the pre-tender meeting is mandatory. Tenders submitted by tenderers who fail to attend will be passed over.
