Jemena is undertaking detailed engineering design to reverse flow the Eastern Gas Pipeline (EGP) south of the Kembla Grange Meter Station (KGMS), to allow the supply of gas into the Victorian and New South Wales gas markets from a new LNG import terminal to be based at Port Kembla, NSW. This project scope includes modifications and upgrades specific to the Longford Compressor Station located in Longford, Victoria.

There is expected to be a total of up to 500 MMSCFD of gas being injected into the EGP from the Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Port Kembla to be transported to the Victorian and New South Wales gas pipeline networks.

The scope may include programming of the DCS, SIS, Flow Computers and other items as outlined below. The systems will undergo witnessed FAT testing facilitated by the Vendor. On successful completion of the FAT, the Vendor will attend site to complete SAT activities and commissioning.

The scope shall be treated as two separable portions:

• Separable Portion 1: DCS (C300) Programming, FAT, and SAT
• Separable Portion 2: SIS (Fail-Safe Controller – FSC) Programming, FAT, and SAT

This will be a lump sum contract. Jemena may award one or both portions of the scope to the vendor. The vendor is required to make a submission outlining its capabilities to complete all portions of SP1 and / or SP2 and the ability to provide hardware requirements for development and testing for the SIS control system. Respondents can price for either separable portion 1 or 2 or they can price for both.
