Tender Description

This Grant Program supports the implementation of a major information and education capability in each state and territory to help temporary visa holders and their employers to understand their workplace rights and obligations under the Migration Act.

Eligibility:

The Australian Government is seeking applications from state/territory-wide organisations where the majority of member organisations/affiliates have right of entry to workplaces. This will ensure access to workers in their place of
work.

There is capacity for these organisations to bid in partnership/consortia with other organisations to do all or part of the work with migrant workers, however, applications from single entries will be considered.

Applicants must have coverage of at least one state or territory - metropolitan, regional and remote locations, where temporary migrants work.

The Grant Opportunity targets organisations with the knowledge and experience to deliver information and education to temporary visa holders and their employers in an equitable and accessible way.

Applications will only be accepted from entities that meet all the eligibility criteria.
