Scope of Work:

Rio Tinto is seeking local suppliers to supply the below services at Dampier and Cape Lambert Ports. The Supplier must nominate the services they are capable to provide:

(a) Spillage Clean-up:

• Provide continuous and on-demand spillage clean-up services at designated sites.

• Utilise specific spillage equipment (e.g., loaders, skid steer loaders, excavators, graders) to access and clean various areas such as under conveyors, stockpile runways, roadways, and other specified locations.

(b) Screening:

• Conduct screening of contaminated iron ore at designated stockyards during screening events.

• Reclaim and process iron ore by separating lump and fines. appropriately while ensuring proper handling and dust suppression.

(c) Bulking:

• Manage the bulk movement and handling of iron ore by loading, hauling, and dumping material as required during bulking events.

• Use designated equipment (e.g., loaders, dump trucks, water trucks) to transfer iron ore between stockpiles while ensuring road and site safety and dust control.

(d) Washdown Services:

• Services require wash down hoses and plant consisting of vacuum trucks and skid steers to wash dust and ore spillage.

(e) Miscellaneous Tasks:

• These tasks could include setting up crane pads, constructing windrows, grading or repairing site roads, removal of hangups, land clearing, and other civil work. Utilise the same equipment or similar alternatives, ensuring all operations align with safety and environmental requirements.

The scope of work described is a summary of the goods and/or services that may be required by Rio Tinto. The specific requirements may change at Rio Tinto’s absolute discretion.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, suppliers will be notified of any changes prior to award.

Your EOI response may be referenced or re-used in the next six months if a similar scope of work is required by Rio Tinto.
