Project goals
To facilitate a wide variety of performance lighting requirements for the Vivid Live annual festival, the Lighting Team provides standard lighting control setups and lighting rigs across all theatres to incoming artists to minimise needs for bespoke lighting rigs and complex changeovers between acts.
Scope
Sydney Opera House (SOH) requires standard control systems and lighting rigs to be installed in the Concert Hall, Joan Sutherland Theatre, Drama Theatre, Studio and Utzon Room. To ensure efficient operations, SOH requires that suppliers be able to supply the specified lighting equipment items with minimal substitutions. Additional/bespoke requirements for show specific lighting needs will be communicated outside this scope of works on an as needs basis.
