Request For Tender For Bankstown Civic Tower BMS Replacement

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Respondents for Bankstown Civic Tower BMS Replacement.

Project goals

Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for replacement of the Building Monitoring and Control System (BMCS).

The works include designing, developing a specific product description, creating a schedule of BMCS points, outlining network diagrams, and producing other necessary documents as outlined in this BMCS Upgrade Scope of Work. These responsibilities also extend to procurement, engineering, on-site delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, client training and Defects Liability Period (DLP) maintenance, warranties, and fine-tuning of the building.

Scope

1. Preliminaries

• Site establishment; including temporary fencing, shade cloth, temporary signs, compound etc
• Preparation of and submission of a dilapidation report to the Superintendents Representative in the form of a report and photographs of all site features, adjacent properties, shop entrances, etc. prior to the commencement of any work. This report must be provided prior to grant of site possession to Contractor.
• Regular weekly meetings between the Contractor’s representatives and Council’s representatives during construction at the Contractor’s site office. The frequency of these meetings may vary should the need arise.
• Protection and/or support of existing services.
• Site clean-up, restoration of damaged surfaces upon completion of works and disestablishment.

2. Building Management and Control Sytem (BMCS)

Works include but are not limited to:

• Supply, installation and commissioning of a new Building Management and Control System and Energy Management System.
• Supply and installation of new controllers, sensors, energy meters and VSDs.
• Integration with existing building and fire services
• All works and materials are to be carried out in accordance with “Building Management System Replacement Scope of Work” and the NCC, any relevant Australian standard.
