The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) is seeking to enter into a contract for the provision of environmental health services (labour, materials and equipment) to Council. The contractor should be customer-focused and provide a service that aims to protect the health of the community by minimising public health risks. The service is to be provided across the municipality with prime functions including: food safety assessment, infectious disease control, health and enforcement information provision, environmental (public health) protection including compliant investigation and resolution, business registration and compliance including rooming houses, caravan parks, food business, prescribed accommodation etc, planning referral advice, wastewater (septic) application assessments and processing.
