Tender Description
Power and Water Corporation is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced design and construct contractor for the balance of works associated with a synchronous condenser system to support the local electricity supply network.
The balance of works includes all ancillary and interconnecting elements required to integrate the synchronous condenser system, including:
- Civil works
- Buildings
- Infrastructure services
- High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems
- Mechanical systems
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and communication systems
This tender includes the following mandatory criteria:
Tenderers must have:
1. Demonstrated experience installing a Synchronous Condenser.
2. Demonstrated experience with 66kV and 11kV high voltage installations.
3. Demonstrated experience delivering multi-discipline, design & construct projects.
Tenderers who do not comply with all of the above, or submit responses which do not comply, with any such requirements will have their responses rejected by Power and Water.
