Warrnambool City Council (the Council) intends to select a number of registered contractors to provide services to Council’s Home Modifications Services clients under the Commonwealth Home Support Program, (transitioning to Support at Home from 1 July 2027).

Tenders are required from contractors who have experience and skills and meet industry and safe work practice standards. Suitable information will need to be included in the tender submission to demonstrate suitability for selection.

The works proposed under this contract may include, but not be limited to the following:

• General skilled and unskilled labour to complete Home Modification Services;

• Examples of Home Modification activities could include

   o Grab rails in the shower (to appropriate shower bases)

   o Internal ramps Step modifications (excluding concrete)

   o Appropriate lever tap sets or lever door handles

   o Internal and external hand rails next to steps

   o Fitting of fire alarms (battery operated only)

Rates are required for normal working hours Monday to Friday, and also after hour rates are required for emergency work, or other planned works outside normal working hours.
