Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The request seeks to engage experienced sellers who have capability to provide information architecture and web content design services.

The Compliance and Environmental Permitting (EPCD) and Nature Positive Regulation Divisions (NPRD) of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) administer 7 pieces of legislation to protect Australia’s environment, including:

  • Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
    • Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981
    • Hazardous Waste (Regulation of Exports and Imports) Act 1989
    • Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989
    • Product Emissions Standards Act 2017
    • Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020
    • Underwater Cultural Heritage Act 2018.

Document and map existing web content/data that relates to each Environment regulation, Reefs and Heritage Group regulatory scheme.

Support the evaluation of content on the website to determine content relevancy, accuracy and performance.

Create a customer journey map to validate user experience of the referral and assessment/permitting process across each Environment regulation, Reefs and Heritage regulatory scheme.

Gather and analyse feedback to identify the most important content to update to ensure the website is aligned with user needs.

Design the information architecture (structure and organisation of information within the website) so users can easily find and navigate it.

Revise or create new content that meets our accessibility and editing guidelines and the DCCEEW website playbook (includes translating technical information into easy-to-read information for stakeholders).

Transfer of knowledge/skills

On the job training for staff on how to develop user-focused web content.

Experiene

You should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in:

  • content design
  • developing information architecture
  • developing and managing workflows.
