Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

Military Personnel Division (MPD) has existing HR toolsets currently operating in SharePoint 2010 platform that now need to transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and an MS Dataverse based Power Platform environment.

The existing Service Option Cat C (SERVOP C) tool was developed to meet Armys requirements as a bespoke case management tool hosted on SharePoint 2010 that aids in managing the end to end process for individual applications.

The nature of service in SERVOP C is characterised by the rendering of continuous full-time service by members of the Reserve. The assignment of SERVOP C is for a defined period of time and relates to the fulfilment of a specific Service need in keeping with the Reserve member’s skills, capabilities and qualifications. Units can use SERVOP C to fill a vacant position for members performing a particular role, undertaking deployments or to attend full-time training courses.

The existing functionality of the extant SERCOP C tool is to be adapted to meet Tri-Service requirements and then replicated within the Defence Vera environment using the approved MS Dynamics architecture, with scope to enhance the process. The final outcome for MPD will be the delivery of connected, end to end process. These processes will be derived from an MS Dynamics Dataverse and work flowed through the toolset. Within the case management tool there needs to be functionality to generate, email notifications, PDF documentation with case details. The solution will also require a comlex access model based on key roles and oragnisational strucure Training materials will be required to support the use along with detailed documentation on how to maintain the tool will required for the successful implementation of the tool.

The proposed solution will need to take into account options for migration from the existing application into the new tool.
