This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department of Health and Aged Care (the Department) is seeking to engage a suitable vendor to conduct penetration testing and configuration review of two business applications that have been developed over a release cycle for the Health Business Systems (HBS) Branch D365 Platform. The platform is a culmination of Microsoft Cloud offerings including Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Applications and Office365. The testing and review aim to provide assurance that the applications developed are secure.
Each system requires a web application and portal to be tested. The second system has access to a payments gateway. The main goal is to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities in the systems to ensure functional areas and data is protected from unauthorised and malicious activities.
The objective of this engagements is to:
- Identify vulnerabilities in two external facing web applications, two portals, including access of one portal to a payments gateway
- Platform configuration reviews of the web applications and portals. Identifying variations in pattern as well as misconfiguration
- Assess effectiveness of security controls
- Evaluate compliance with security standards and policies.
