Project goals

The Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust (JCRT) seeks Principal Consultancy services for the for the design, development and coordination of documentation suitable for client approval, relevant authority approval and construction procurement and delivery purposes. The Principal Design Consultant will be responsible under the contract, to identify, engage and manage all relevant subconsultants required to complete the project and obtain all relevant approvals and certificates.

Scope

JCRT is seeking a Principal Design Consultant (PDC) for the design of upgrade to the fire abatement system of the Visitor Use and Services Zone (VUSZ), which will include:

• Increased dedicated firefighting water reserves
• Replace the water feed line so that it is not affected by fires to improve resilience at those times
• Compliant feed/attack hydrant network within the VUSZ
• Booster valve and pump sets for firefighting appliance
• Replaced fire sprinkler valve assembly and replacement of degraded fire sprinkler pipework

Pre-Tender Meeting

Registration of attendance to the Pre-Tender Meeting shall be via email with the Contact Person. The Contact Person will then provide an email invitation to the online pre-tender meeting.

To lodge a response, click the RESPOND button to submit your electronic tender response. Suppliers must submit their response into the buy NSW system before 3pm on the close date. Responses can be submitted and edited multiple times until the opportunity closes, with only the most recent submission being submitted.

Once submitted, the tender opportunity will move from ‘In Progress’ to ‘Submitted’ on your Tenders dashboard. A detailed system-generated email will be sent to the registered contact for all successfully received response files, and a notification will appear on your dashboard.

Don’t miss the 3pm deadline! Allow at least an hour before the tender closes to complete your submission, upload documents, and contact support if needed.

Uploading large files: The upload time depends on the supplier’s internet speed. Files are virus scanned and encrypted once uploaded. Suppliers are encouraged to upload early and wait until the upload bar completes to ensure success.
