Terms of appointment

  • The Chair of a College Body is approved by its Parent Body, the Advanced Training Committee (ATC) in General and Acute Care Medicine, upon recommendation of the College Body members.
  • The Chair holds office until removed from office by the Parent Body (ATC), or until the Chair resigns from office, or the member’s term (who is the Chair) has expired.
  • The Chair's term comprises 1 year, pending review for potential extension.

Responsibilities of the Working Group members

  • flexibility and a willingness to support the accreditation of training settings and positions delivering the Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine Training program through site visits and videoconferences. (Some site visits will require travel to and from the setting; any costs incurred are covered by the RACP Travel Policy and Guidelines (PDF).
